Venice High School Amateur Radio Club
This clubs meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
after school in room 4-357 (Physics Lab).
The club is sponsored by Mr. Case WC4SE and Mr. Lash W4LRL.
Activities include:
  • preparing for the amateur radio license exam
  • learning about amateur radio
  • learning how to use a amateur radio
  • making contacts on the radio to contacts worldwide
  • participating in ARRL School Club Roundup
  • using various equipment to locate hidden transmitters (radio direction finding)
  • providing communcations for community events
  • earning community service hours
  • learning about scholarships exclusive to radio operators
  • plus many others
